Dear Yours Truly Readers,
Chad and I decided to visit his parents for a long weekend. It’s been a while since I saw them. If you remember, we celebrated the Holidays with our respective families – we haven’t done this since we got engaged 8 years ago.
The visit was worthwhile. It gave me some alone time with my in-laws while Chad went for a massage, swam or worked out. Each time I got the chance to have quality conversations with them; it made me realize even more how lucky I am to be married to Chad. He has great set of parents who are affectionate and nurturing.
My father in law is one of the wittiest, ingenious and keen individuals I’ve ever met. He is a hard working father who was an exceptional provider for his family. Chad respects his knowledge in any types of industries or trades. He enjoys talking to him about our business, Yours Truly Wedding Albums. They can talk for hours – Melvin listens and contributes his opinions when asked.
My mother in law is a one devoted and committed mother. She is very proper and embodies the true meaning of sophistication. She can come across impervious but has the most generous heart I’ve ever known. Chad adores her and I love that about him.
I appreciate them so much and am thankful that they raised Chad to be an incredible human being. I thank them each time that I get a chance.
Thanksgiving will be when I see them next. I wish we lived closer as I do enjoy our time together.
