In a marriage, couples have 2 different philosophies about their relationships with in-laws:
- When you get married to yours truly, you are also married to his parents; therefore it’s important to love and care for them as if they are your own parents. It is also important that you get along with them.
- When you get married to yours truly, his parents are a part of his life; but, they shouldn’t affect your relationship whether they like you or not. Having a loving and caring relationship is good but not important as long as you’re with yours truly.
In more than a handful of instances, wives who are not in peaceful terms with their in-laws place husbands in an awkward position by having them choose: Your Parents or Me?
