Whatever the weather is like this weekend, find an area near your home town or even slightly further away for you and yours truly to go and visit a place you haven’t seen before. It’s absolutely worth the energy to enjoy your surroundings because of our busy lifestyles – we don’t take time to breathe and appreciate life.
However you get to that destination, by car, bike, or even walking… take time to appreciate the scenery, while being grateful of your life and love for each other.
After weeks of hard work, we just shipped a gorgeous wedding album with 185 photos to the winners of our “Share the Love” contest.
In January and February this year, our contest offered the “wedding photo album of your dreams” for the best love story. Amy and John, “the high school friends-turned-sweethearts” gathered the most reads and ran away with the very special prize!
Our contest winners wished each other “Good luck” when they graduated high school in 1985. Eighteen years later, they reconnected and eventually fell in love with each other. (Read their whole love story here – Love Miracle) They tied the knot in November of 2014 in a beautiful ceremony full of friends and family, and have amazing photos to remember their big day.
Yours Truly Wedding Albums has been around for only 5 months yet we are already receiving good words from brides we had the pleasure to work with. Nothing is better than knowing that we did a fantastic job in showcasing a love story of beautiful couples through our wedding albums.
We would like to share some of the reviews we received as posted by our customers on Facebook and on wedding site Wedding Wire.
As you’ve seen on our website and email messages, we are running a contest for You-nique Wedding Photos. It is a contest for those who have experienced anything “unique” about a wedding. It is such fun contests that we hope you or your friends join!
When Chad and I got married, the whole “uniqueness” or “unconventional” weddings were not an “in” thing. During our time, we made certain elements of our wedding unique (well…it was unconventional 8 years ago!).
Nowadays, I love seeing wedding photos that speak the couples’ personality as opposed to how weddings were in the past…the reception halls or banquets dictated the character of the wedding.
I’m so happy to see the turn of events on how much personalized weddings have become. This is our inspiration in making our YoursTrulyWeddingAlbum covers. We compliment the design of your wedding album cover to the theme of your wedding.
Chad and I saw the The Age of Adaline movie last weekend. WOW! What an interesting story line and a breathtaking story about a chance encounter oflove and romance! We were just in awe while watching the entire movie. It was light-hearted but full of inspirational moments of aging gracefully (or not aging at all).
There was a quote in the movie that hit home to both of us:
Flemming:Don’t you miss having someone to love?
Adaline Bowman: It’s not the same when there’s no growing old together. Without that, love is just heartbreak.
As I was browsing through the internet to find some ideas for a Mother’s Day present…I don’t know how I came across this blog: How to with Courtney. There was an interesting image that she posted which caught my attention:
It is so clever and so true that only time heals a broken heart.
Lately, there is an renewed interest of the Boho fashion style in all parts of the world. Weddings are not exempted.
Boho or Boho-chic is a fashion style drawing on various Bohemian and hippie influences. It first emerged in 2005 and was associated particularly with actress Sienna Miller and model Kate Moss in the United Kingdom. In the US, Mary-Kate Olsen is the icon of Boho.
We have gathered beautiful Boho wedding ensembles to give you a feel of what this new favorite style is about. If you have been married, we collected some looks that should be perfect for your anniversary photo shoots or renewal of vows. 🙂
Tammy and Curtis, married 527 days ago, can now look back at their happy wedding moments with a gorgeous heirloom.
The couple chose a “You-nique” cover style which featured two colors of genuine leather. It displayed a recessed photo with an artistic representation of the bride and the groom’s names and the wedding date. The gilding of the page edges is also a highly specialized art-form with a golden finished look.
Last month, we published the first five of the best summer wedding destinations in the US (June Weddings: Best Summer Venues Part 1). To give you more choices, we are writing about the second batch today!

We believe that every couple needs a wedding album and that every wedding is unique!
So, for our next online contest, we are encouraging all newlyweds and even those who have been married a long time ago to think of something that set your wedding apart from the others. Tell us something about this uniqueness to get the chance to win a custom wedding album!
Send us a photo of anything unique about your wedding; could be an unusual venue, a bold choice for a bridal gown, an innovative wedding proposal, an outrageous wedding procession, an original concept for the invitation, bridal party attire that’s one-of-a-kind, your vows which made everyone laugh (or cry), a crazy “game” or at the reception, a funny family wedding shot, and other wedding moments that are uniquely yours!
Add a short description to tell us what made that moment unique.
